  Promotion of Research Programs in the Humanities

  The most important and urgent issues for human beings in the 21st century are environmental problems for survival and the issue of global coexistence of human beings. Therefore, to create new fields of study in the humanities by going beyond existing academic frameworks, and to develop advanced and international research, NIHU is engaged in the following programs.

Committee for the Promotion of Research Programs in the Humanities

* Examines the general goals on which research in the humanities should be focused, the fields to be emphasized, and the research projects and systems that need to be developed and established to accomplish these goals.

* Advances the integrated use of databases in the humanities.

* Promotes inter-institutional and external joint research projects.

* Other(international collaboration and cooperation, information dissemination, etc.)
