The NIHU International Prize in Japanese Studies 2020

The second NIHU International Prize in Japanese Studies was awarded to Dr. Andrew Gordon, Harvard University’s Lee and Juliet Folger Fund Professor of History and Professor of Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies at Harvard University. The awards ceremony of the 2020 NIHU International Prize in Japanese Studies was held online on June 10, 2021. At the ceremony, Professor Gordon gave a lecture entitled “The Excitement of History and Responsibility of Historical Studies".
